no problem you have somoe really cool images, the desktop backgrounds in particular are sweet. im thinking of designing my own one now. any advice??

You just need a concept, basically. Once you have an idea of what kind of desktop BG you want, you just work around that.

Using some examples as reference is also a good idea. I used some reference in selecting the colors for my current desktop BG.

Just have fun with it ^_^.
